1- ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

  • Age (As on 1st May, 2021):

  • Gender: Male
  • Marital Status: Unmarried (Married serving personnel of the Armed Forces over 20 years of age are eligible).
  • Nationality: Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir / Gilgit-Baltistan. Upon final selection candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistan.
  • Physical Standards:
    • Minimum Height – 5′ – 4″ (162.5 cm)
    • Weight – As per the Body Mass Index
  • Education:
    (a) Marks – FA / F.Sc / Equivalent
    – Minimum 60 % marks in FA/F.Sc and equivalent.
    – Candidates who secure 60% marks or above in BA / BSc, BA / BSc (Hons) and BBA / BPA, with 50% marks in FA / FSc are eligible for PMA Long Course.
    (b) Relaxation of Marks – FA / F.Sc: 55% marks for the candidates from specified areas with domicile. Areas incl Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, District Neelum Azad Jammu Kashmir, District Kohistan, Chitral, Dir, Tehsil Bala Kot (Kaghan, Naran) of District Mansehra in KPK, Tharparker and Tehsil Umer Kot in Sind, District Rajanpur, Area of Cholistan Desert, Drawar Fort, Salamsar, Mojgarh and Dingarh of Punjab. Besides being a domicile holder, the candidates must have been actually studying in the same areas.
    (c) Serving Army Soldiers: 50% marks in FA/F.Sc and equivalent.
    (d) Verification of Marks Sheet / Certificate: Candidates not issued with certificates or in possession of duplicate/revised mark sheets/certificates of Matric / Intermediate / BA / BSc must get a Verification Certificate signed by Secretary/ Controller Examination of concerned Board/University.
    (e) ‘A’ level candidates applying in Pakistan with aggregate 60% marks are eligible without seeking equivalence certificate as calculated by IBCC. However, all the candidates who have passed ‘A’ level and equivalent examination from abroad or have passed from Pakistan with the result less than three Cs are required to submit equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.

2- INELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

  • A candidate is ineligible if he is twice rejected by ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Board or once rejected by ISSB and once rejected by GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Board.
  • Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board.
  • Declared unfit by any Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by Appeal Medical Board.
  • Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (cannot request for Appeal Medical Board).
  • Dismissed/removed/debarred from Government Service including Armed Forces.
  • Withdrawn from any Academy / Training Institution of Armed Forces on any ground.
  • Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds.
  • Convicted in a Court of Law for an offense involving moral turpitude.

3- REGISTRATION & PRELIMINARY SELECTION PROCEDURE

Candidates can either register through the Internet or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs). The following procedure will be adopted:

a. Registration Through Internet
A candidate can register on the website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. Date and time of test shall be intimated on the internet for which an individual should have an e-mail account. The candidate will report on the exact date and time given for preliminary tests on computerized roll no slip. The date once given will not be changed. Candidates will also bring along all documents mentioned in para 6 and will pay the prospectus fee on the day of the test. Candidates MUST attain a working knowledge of computers as registration and tests will be conducted on computers.

b. Registration at Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs)
The candidates may report at the nearest AS&RCs for registration/allotment of roll no along with necessary documents mentioned in para 6 and the prospectus fee for completion of registration formalities. The candidates will bring these documents on the day of the test as well.

c. Schedule of Registration/Preliminary Tests

Registration: 05 October, 2019 – 06 November, 2020 (Including Saturday and Sunday)

Note:
1. The TCC candidates who apply for PMA L/C will also be considered as Repeater Candidates.
2. Repeater candidates must report at concerned AS&RCs for preliminary tests.

d. Preliminary Selection:

(i) Written/ Intelligence Tests
Written/Intelligence tests will be based on multiple-choice questions from English, Maths, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat and General Knowledge. The candidates declared successful in written/intelligence tests will undergo physical/medical tests and interviews at AS&RCs.

(ii) Physical Tests
The candidates must qualify the following physical standards at the time of preliminary selection:-

  1. 1.6 Km Run – 8 minutes
  2. Push-Ups – 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
  3. Sit Ups – 20 repetitions in 2 minutes
  4. Chin Ups – 3 repetitions in 2 minutes
  5. Ditch Crossing – 7’.4” x 7’.4” and 4’ deep.

(iii) Interview
Successful candidates will be interviewed at AS&RC and shortlisted for the ISSB test.

(iv) ISSB Tests
Successful candidates will receive notice for ISSB tests through the website as well as call up letter.

4- FURTHER SELECTION
Candidates who are selected by AS&RCs will be called for ISSB Test. Medical examination of ISSB recommended candidates will be carried out at nearby CMHs. The final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of the candidate’s performance.

5- TRAINING PERIOD AT PAKISTAN MILITARY ACADEMY (PMA): 2 Years

6- DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT AS&RCs

  • Original certificate / detailed Marks Sheet of Matric/FA/FSc/ Equivalent.
  • Computerized National Identity Card for 18 years and above or Computerized Form “B” along with Guardian’s Computerized National Identity Card (Father or Mother) for less than 18 years of age.
  • One set of attested photocopies of the above-mentioned documents.
  • 3 x Passport size colored photos duly attested (front and back) by Principal/Class-1 Gazetted Officer.
  • Original as well as one photocopy of “NOT RECOMMENDED” letter by ISSB are also required for “Repeater Candidates”.
    Note: Old National Identity Card and Form “B” will not be accepted.

7- PAKISTAN NATIONALS RESIDING ABROAD

Eligible candidates residing abroad are exempted from Preliminary Selection. However, Defence Attaches will ascertain their overall suitability, physical deformity, and stammering aspects. The candidates are advised to approach Pakistani Embassies (Military/Defence Attaches) in the country where residing for issuance of Application Forms. They will submit their Application Forms along with connected documents through Pakistani Embassies by 16 Jul 2018. A postal order of Rs. 100/- and a Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- in the name of Director General Personnel Administration, Personnel Administration Directorate, GHQ Rawalpindi will be attached with the Application Form. Postal address in Pakistan should also be indicated in the Application Forms so that call up notice for ISSB Tests/ Interviews and further correspondence to eligible candidates can be made on the given Pakistani address. No traveling allowance will be admissible for traveling to and from Pakistan.
Note: If selected candidates for current entry are more than the required induction, the leftover candidates would be considered for the next PMA Long Course entry subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions/merit.

SCHEDULE OF REGISTRATION / PRELIMINARY TESTS.

5. FURTHER SELECTION .
Shortlisted candidates will receive notice for intelligence/ personality test and interviews by the GHQ Selection Board at their nearest stations through website as well as call up letter. Medical Fitness of candidates who are selected in the final interview shall be carried out at nearest CMHs. Final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of candidate’s overall performance.
6. MILITARY TRAINING .
22 x weeks Basic Military Training (BMT) at Army Medical Corps School & Centre Abbottabad within one month after MBBS and induction as Short Service Regular Commission (SSRC) officer by GHQ PA Directorate.
7. BOND .
 Finally selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army Medical Corps for a minimum of six years, after passing the MBBS.

 On the successful completion of his Medical education and due satisfaction of other requirements of the Scheme, ‘M’ Cadet will be
commissioned in the AMC.

Pakistan armed forces are now providing equal career opportunities for both male and females to be the part of well-established platform. Here we are written all the information and instruction that how to join Pakistan Army as captain through Lady Cadet Course. Now females / girls/ Ladies who have done their bachelors or masters can join Pakistan through LCC.  Lady Cadet Course LCC is a 6 months long training session at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) where appointed females get training in their relevant field and award with the rank as captain. JOIN PAKISTAN ARMY AS MEDICAL CADET IN ARMY ADMINISTERED MEDICAL COLLEGES (RWP, LAHORE, QUETTA, KARACHI, MULTAN)

1. Eligibility Conditions

a. Age. 17-21 Years as on 1 Nov 2018 (relaxable for 3 months both in
upper and lower age limits).

b. Gender. Male

c. Marital Status. Unmarried

d. Nationality.

Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir / Gilgit Baltistan. Upon final selection, candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani.

e. Physical Standards

(1) Minimum Height. 5’– 4” (162.5 cm).
(2) Weight. As per Body Mass Index.

f. Education

(1) FSc (Pre-medical) with minimum 70% marks or “A” level passed in Biology, Physics and Chemistry with minimum grade C.

(2) Candidates having domicile of Balochistan, Sind (District Tharparkar, Omar Kot), Northern Areas, Azad Kashmir (Upper Neelam Valley) and FATA can apply with 65% marks.

(3) Candidates possessing foreign qualifications such as ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level etc will be required to obtain Equivalence Certificate and conversion of marks from Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC), Ministry of Education, Islamabad and attach it with application form.

(4) Candidates who have passed FSc Part-I Examination with minimum 70% marks and appeared/are appearing in FSc PartII/Final Examination can also apply on “HOPE Certificates” by the Head of the institutions. Such candidates must deposit an attested copy of FSc Part II Certificate/ Mark Sheets to PA Directorate (PA-3C) GHQ Rawalpindi within 5 days of announcement of result; otherwise their selection will not be processed further.

2. Ineligibility Conditions

a. “Not Recommended” twice by ISSB/GHQ Selection Board.
b. Declared medically UNFIT by CMH/Appeal Medical Board.
c. Declared medically UNFIT due to Hepatitis B & C (Appeal Medical Board cannot be requested)
d. Enrolled cadets and recruits withdrawn/resigned/discharged/ dismissed from Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) training academies/institutions on the grounds of discipline, character, medical, inefficiency, weak profile, own request or declared unsuitable.
e. An individual dismissed/removed from any other government service.
f. Convicted by a Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude.

3. Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure.

Candidates can either register through internet on website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs). Following procedure will be adopted:-
a. Registration Through Internet. A candidate can register on website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. Date and time of test shall be intimated on internet, for which the individual should have an e-mail account. Candidates will report on exact date and time given for preliminary test on computerized roll no slip. Date once given will not be changed. Candidates will also bring along documents mentioned in para 6 and will pay prospectus fee on the day of test. Candidates MUST attain working knowledge of computer as registration and test will be conducted on computers.
b. Registration at AS&RCs. The candidates may report at nearest AS&RCs for registration / allotment of roll no alongwith necessary documents mentioned in para 6 and the prospectus fee for completion of registration formalities. The Candidates will bring these documents on the day of test as well.

c. Schedule of Registration / Preliminary Tests. Registration and Preliminary Test will be held as per the following schedule:-

Registration 4 Jun to 01 Jul 2018
Preliminary Tests including Written/Intelligence/Personality 17 Jul To 27 Jul 2018

d. Important Points

(1) Provincial Entry Test. Candidates who apply for admission as Medical Cadet (for Army only) in AM College Rwp, CMH Lhr Med College, Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences, CMH Multan Medical College, Karachi Institute of Medical Sciences Must have registered/ appeared themselves in any fresh provincial entry test as eligible (UHS, ETEA, MCAT, NUMS, AJ&K State exam etc).
(2) Candidate must mention the name of College for which applying (Army Medical College Rawalpindi or CMH Lahore Medical College) at the top of application form (page 1). Candidate can also opt for Colleges priority wise.
(3) During the registration on internet, the candidate must specify his choice for Colleges carefully.
(4) A candidate selected at merit for one institution shall not be changed.
(5) Candidate sel for MBBS in any of said medical colleges if not appeared/ registered in their respective regional exams shall stand ineligible.
e. Written/Intelligence/Personality Test. Written test will be based on multiple choice questions from English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The candidate declared successful in written test will undergo physical/medical tests at AS&RCs.
f. Physical Test. The candidates must qualify the following physical tests:-
(1) 1.6 Km run 9 Minutes.
(2) Push Ups 15 repetition in 2 Minutes.
(3) Sit Ups 15 repetition in 2 Minutes.
(4) Chin Ups 3 repetition in 2 Minutes.
(5) Ditch Crossing 7’. 4” x 7’. 4” with a depth of 4 feet.
g. Preliminary Medical Test. Initial medical test at AS&RCs.

4. Further Selection. Shortlisted candidates will receive notice for intelligence/personality test and interviews by the GHQ Selection Board at Army Medical College, Rawalpindi through website as well as call up letter. Medical examination of recommended candidates will be carried out at nearby CMHs. Final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of candidate’s overall performance.

5. Academics/Military Training

a. Academics
Discipline / Duration
MBBS Course 5 years study at Army Medical Colleges Rawalpindi Lahore, Quetta, Karachi & Multan.
BDS Course 4 years study at Army Medical College Rawalpindi
b. Military Training. 22 x Weeks Basic Military Training (BMT) at PMA Kakul, after completion of final professional examination.

6. Documents Required at AS&RCs.

a. 1 x attested photocopy of Matric certificate. In case of ‘O’ Level/’A’ Level, submission of equivalence certificate issued by IBCC is mandatory.
b. 1 x attested photocopies of Computerized National Identity Card or Form ‘B’ issued by NADRA.
c. 1 x attested photocopies of FSc Part-I (Pre-Medical) details marks certificate and “Hope” certificate from Principal of college that the candidate will get minimum 70% marks in FSc Part-II Examination.
d. Attested passport size photographs must be pasted on Appl form.
e. Candidates who have already cleared FSc Part-II (Pre-Medical) will produce 1x attested photocopies of Detail Marks Sheets (DMC).
f. Candidates will deposit crossed postal orders of Rs 100.00 in favour of Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA), GHQ Rawalpindi.
Pay Order/Bank Draft will not be accepted.

7. Bond. Finally selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army for a minimum period of 13 years. The applicability of bond will commence on completion of MBBS Degree Course at respective Medical College.

ADVT FAST TRACK REGULAR COMMISSION IN PAKISTAN ARMY THROUGH 38TH GRADUATE COURSE IN ONE YEAR

1. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

a. Age as on 1 Nov 2018. 20-25 Years

b. Gender. Male.

c. Marital Status. Unmarried (Married serving personnel of the Armed Forces over 20 years of age are eligible).

d. Nationality. Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir / Gilgit-Baltistan. Upon final selection candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistan.

e. Physical Standards
(1) Minimum Height – 5′ – 4″ (162.5 cm)

f. Education
(1) Candidates who secure 55% marks or above in BA / BSc or Equivalent, BS, BA / BSc (Hons) and BBA / BPA, with 50% marks in FA / FSc/Equivalent are eligible for Graduate Course.

(2) Relaxation of Marks. 50% marks for the candidates from specified areas with domicile and who have been actually studying in same areas. Areas including Balolchistan, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, District Neelum Azad Jammu Kashmir, District Kohistan, Chitral, Dir, Tehsil Bala Kot (Kaghan, Naran) of District Mansehra in KPK, Tharparker and Tehsil Umer Kot in Sind, District Rajanpur, Area of Cholistan Desert, Drawar Fort, Salamsar, Mojgarh and Dingarh of Punjab.

(3) Serving Army Soldiers. 50% marks in BA/BSc and equivalent.

(4) Hope Certificate. Candidates who have passed Part-I of BA / BSc / Equivalent Examination with minimum 55 % marks and have appeared / are appearing in Part-II / Final Examination can also apply on “Hope Certificate” by Head of the institutions.

(5) Verification of Marks Sheet / Certificate. Candidates not issued with certificates or in possession of duplicate/revised mark sheets/certificates of Matric / Intermediate / BA / BSc must get a Verification Certificate signed by Secretary/Controller Examination of concerned Board/University.

2. Ineligibility Conditions

a. A candidate is ineligible if he is twice rejected by ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Board or once rejected by ISSB and once rejected by GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Board.

b. Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board.

c. Declared unfit by any Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by
Appeal Medical Board.

d. Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (cannot request for Appeal Medical Board).

e. Dismissed/removed/debarred from Government Services including Armed Forces.

f. Withdrawn from any Academy / Training Institution of Armed Forces on any ground.

g. Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces College/Institution on
disciplinary grounds.

h. Convicted in a Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude.

(1) Written/ Intelligence Tests. Written/Intelligence tests will be based on multiple choice questions from English, Maths, Pak Studies, Islamiat and General Knowledge. The candidates declared successful in written/intelligence tests will undergo physical / medical tests and interviews at AS&RCs.

(2) Physical Tests. The candidates must qualify the following physical standards at the time of preliminary selection:-

(a) 1.6 Km Run – 8 minutes
(b) Push Ups – 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
(c) Sit Ups – 20 repetitions in 2 minutes
(d) Chin Ups – 3 repetitions in 2 minutes
(e) Ditch Crossing – 7’.4” x 7’.4” with a depth of 4’

(3) Interview. Successful candidates will be interviewed at AS&RC and short listed for ISSB test.

(4) Successful candidates will receive notice for ISSB tests through website as well as call letter.

4. Further Selection. Candidates who are selected by AS&RCs will be called for ISSB Test. Medical examination of ISSB recommended candidates will be carried out at nearby CMHs. The final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of candidate’s performance.

5. Training Period at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA). 1 Year.

Note:- After completion of successfully 1 year training at PMA No Gentlemen Cadet of Graduate Course irrespective of their any technical qualification will be allotted Technical Arms (Engineers / Signals / Electrical Mechanical Engineering).

6. Documents Required at AS&RCs

a. Original certificate / detailed Marks Sheet of Matric/FA/FSc/ BA/BSc Equivalent.

b. Computerized National Identity Card for 18 years and above or Computerized Form “B” alongwith Guardian’s Computerized National Identity Card (Father or Mother) for less than 18 years old.

c. One set of attested photocopies of above mentioned documents.

d. 3 x Passport size Coloured photos duly attested (front and back) by Principal/Class 1 Gazetted Officer.

Note: – Old National Identity Card and Form “B” will not be accepted.

7. PAKISTAN NATIONALS RESIDING ABROAD. Eligible candidates residing
abroad are exempted from Preliminary Selection. However, Defence Attaches will ascertain their overall suitability, physical deformity and stammering aspects. The candidates are advised to approach Pakistani Embassies (Military/Defence Attaches) in the country where residing or Personnel Administration Directorate PA-3(a), GHQ Rawalpindi, for issuance of Application Forms. They will submit their Application Forms
alongwith connected documents through Pakistani Embassies by 31 Aug 2018. A postal order of Rs. 100/- and a Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- in the name of Director Personnel Administration (Selection), Personnel Administration Directorate, GHQ Rawalpindi will be attached with the Application Form. Postal address in Pakistan should also be indicated in the Application Forms so that call up notice for ISSB Tests/ Interviews and further
correspondence to eligible candidates can be made on the given Pakistani address. No traveling allowance will be admissible for travelling to and from Pakistan.
