Military College Murree (MCM) was inaugurated by the COAS Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, NI(M), HI, on 1st September 2008. This institution is entrusted to educate and groom the students for induction into the Pakistan Army. Since its establishment, earnest efforts have been made at all tiers to make MCM a dynamic educational entity and an institute par excellence. College is structured for strength of 450 boys from class VIII to XII. On the eve of departure of pioneer entry, 1st Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 28 Jun 2010, and COAS graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. The students of MCM are known as “HIMALIANS” and the motto is علم میری قوت

Military College Murree is located at Upper Topa, The Murree Hills at the foothills of Himalayas. It is 7000 feet above sea level. It is 57 kms from Islamabad via express way. The campus is thickly forested with Pine and Chinar and spread over an area of 3.5 sq kms. It hosts scanty wild life and still retains its natural scenic beauty. The climate at the campus is pleasant during summers and cold in winters.

Selection is based on performance/ grading of a candidate in the following (in the same order)

Written test
Intelligence test
Interview
Medical Examination at CMH/ MH
Final Selection

Note :- Students of MCM are bonded to join Army. Academically sound boys may also join NUST and Army Medical College as Technical Cadets

Eligibility Criteria

Must have passed class VII before joining the college.
Boys studying in class VIII can also apply.
He should be between 12 to 14 years of age on 1st April in the year of admission.
Candidate must be medically fit.
